30,000 visitors expected at Interfood Indonesia 2007

It is expected that 30,000 trade visitors from all over Asia will visit Interfood Indonesia 2007. Meanwhile, figures from organiser Krista Exhibitions indicate that about 400 local and overseas exhibitors are participating in the event. They are mostly professional processors, packers, wholesalers, packaging designers, developers and distributors from the industry.

According to Krista Exhibitions, many of the overseas exhibitors hail from Singapore, Korea, Japan, China, Taiwan, India, Malaysia, Thailand, Australia, the US and Europe.

On the whole, the exhibition will feature products from the bakery, food ingredients, herbal & health food, and hospitality industries.

A number of high-level international academic seminar and conferences will also be held during the exhibition. They are organised by various bodies including Indonesia Food and Beverage Association (GAPMMI), Indonesia Herbal Association, GP Farma, Indonesia Pharmaceutical Association and Indonesia Packaging Federation.

Interfood Indonesia 2007 will be held in conjunction with All Pack Indonesia at Jakarta International Expo, Kemayoran from September 5 to 8.
