The Global Company Partnership Programme is IE Singapore’s approach designed to help companies looking to expand their business overseas. With the programme’s assistance, these companies can take their businesses to the global level through devising appropriate strategies, assessing potential markets and growth opportunities, and understanding their organisations’ capabilities and gaps.
Market Readiness Assistance (MRA) is one of the initiatives being put in place by International Enterprise (IE) Singapore to help companies in Singapore on their journeys to internationalisation while achieving quality growth. This programme aims to help companies keen on venturing overseas, and the three types of assistance under IE’s Market Readiness.
According to IE Singapore, the global oil and gas market was worth just over US$2,640 billion (S$3,226 billion) in 2010, and is predicted to hit almost US$3,700 billion (S$4,522 billion) by 2015. Ports and port services play essential roles in the trade and export industry as well - they are not only job generators that contribute to economic growth, they are also important nodal points in the global trade flow.

With the business landscape getting increasingly globalised, companies may be looking into expanding their business overseas – and this includes the export industry. A good measure would involve building up a sound and sustainable export strategy. This will not only minimise business risks, it can maximise time and money, and here’s where IE Singapore comes into the picture.
